About Me

I’ve spent my career designing training that performs under pressure. After 29 years in the U.S. Marine Corps, leading teams, building training programs from the ground up, and managing multimillion-dollar operations, I transitioned into instructional design and consulting. My mission hasn’t changed: prepare people to succeed in high-stakes environments.

I’ve worked as a Senior Instructional Designer with Booz Allen Hamilton, where I create scenario-driven, gamified learning solutions for the Marine Corps. I also bring experience as a college instructor, teaching and mentoring the next generation of learners and professionals.

In 2025, I completed my MBA at the University of North Carolina Wilmington, adding a strong foundation in business strategy and leadership to my background in education and training. Combined with my MS in Instructional Technology and MS in Strategic Communications, I connect learning design with organizational performance, ensuring training isn’t just engaging and aligned with measurable business outcomes.

Whether I’m building a simulation that teaches decision-making under pressure, a leadership development program, or a digital learning experience that people want to complete, I approach every project with the same mindset I learned in the Marines: mission first, results consistently.
