Micro Learning Modules

A Brief History of NASA

Problem: Many people lack a clear understanding of NASA’s history, key milestones, and significant contributions to space exploration. Traditional text-heavy presentations aren’t engaging, often leading to low material retention. The challenge was to create an approachable learning experience that condensed decades of NASA’s achievements into a concise, visually engaging format.

Solution: I designed an interactive, rocket-themed module in Articulate Storyline 360 that allows learners to explore NASA’s history by decade. The experience uses clickable rockets for navigation, visually rich backgrounds, and concise, easy-to-read summaries for each era. By blending engaging visuals with structured historical content, the module makes learning NASA’s story memorable and enjoyable, allowing learners to proceed at their own pace.

Learn a New Exercise

Problem: People needed clear, accessible guidance on how to properly perform the Jumping Squat Thrust exercise, an exercise that doesn’t require any equipment and is great for building muscle and cardiovascular endurance. Many existing resources were either overly technical, lacked step-by-step breakdowns, or didn’t provide visual demonstrations, leading to confusion and improper form.

Solution: I developed a concise, step-by-step instructional video using Vyond for animated guidance, Camtasia for editing, and Articulate Rise for delivery. The tutorial walks learners through each phase of the Jumping Squat Thrust, from starting stance to completion, highlighting correct form, breathing, and pacing. Visual cues and narration reinforce each movement, making the content easy to follow for beginners while still useful as a refresher for more experienced participants.
